Yogi Maps - Discover Yoga Studios & Teachers Near You

Challenge

Finding reliable yoga studios and wellness spaces often requires users to browse multiple websites, social media pages, and directories. Information is frequently outdated, difficult to compare, or scattered across different platforms.

The challenge was to create a centralized platform that makes discovering yoga services simple, trustworthy, and accessible while supporting both casual users and dedicated practitioners.

Goals

The primary goal was to create a seamless discovery experience that helps users quickly find relevant yoga studios and instructors based on their location and preferences.

The platform also aimed to improve information accessibility, simplify navigation, and provide a structured way to explore wellness services through an engaging and user-friendly interface.

User Types

The platform was designed for individuals looking to discover yoga experiences as well as studio owners who want to increase visibility and reach potential customers.

Users can search for studios, compare options, view detailed information, and explore available services, while businesses can showcase their offerings and attract new visitors.

Design Approach

The design process focused on creating a clean and intuitive experience centered around location discovery. Special attention was given to information hierarchy, map interactions, search functionality, and responsive layouts to ensure users could quickly access relevant information without unnecessary complexity.

A balance between visual appeal and usability was maintained throughout the product to support both exploration and decision-making.

Design System & Scalability

To ensure consistency across the platform, a scalable design system was developed alongside a comprehensive component library. Reusable elements such as buttons, input fields, cards, navigation patterns, filters, and map interactions established a unified visual language throughout the product.

The system streamlined design workflows, simplified future iterations, and created a strong foundation for product growth while maintaining a cohesive user experience across all screens and features.

Discovery Experience

The core of Yogi Maps is a location-driven discovery experience that helps users find yoga studios, wellness spaces, and instructors with minimal effort. Interactive maps, search functionality, and filtering tools work together to make exploration intuitive and efficient.

Users can browse nearby locations, compare options, and access detailed studio information directly from the platform. Dedicated studio profiles provide essential details such as services, descriptions, images, and contact information, helping users make informed decisions before visiting.

Responsive Solution & Outcome

Yogi Maps was designed to deliver a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Responsive layouts and optimized navigation patterns ensure users can discover studios and access information comfortably regardless of screen size.

The final product provides a modern platform that simplifies the process of exploring wellness opportunities through location-based discovery and structured information. By combining intuitive navigation, powerful search capabilities, and scalable design principles, the platform creates a more engaging experience for users while increasing visibility for yoga businesses and wellness providers.
