2026
A web platform designed for tabletop RPG players and game masters to create characters, manage campaigns, organize game sessions, and collaborate throughout their adventures in a single digital experience.
Scope of Work

The Challenge
Managing tabletop RPG campaigns often requires users to rely on multiple tools, spreadsheets, documents, and communication platforms. Important information can become fragmented, making it difficult for players and game masters to stay organized throughout a campaign.
The challenge was to design a unified experience that simplifies campaign management while supporting the large amount of content, data, and interactions required by tabletop RPG communities.

Goals
The primary objective was to create a platform that improves collaboration between players and game masters while reducing the complexity of managing campaigns. The solution needed to provide clear information architecture, support multiple user roles, and allow users to quickly access important game information without becoming overwhelmed.

User Types
The platform was designed around two primary user groups: players and game masters. Players need easy access to character information, campaign updates, and shared resources, while game masters require powerful tools for campaign creation, encounter planning, monster management, and world-building.
The experience was carefully structured to support both user types while ensuring that each role could focus on its own responsibilities without unnecessary complexity.

Design System & Scalability
To support a content-rich product with multiple user flows, a scalable design system was developed to maintain consistency across the application. Reusable components, interaction patterns, and layout structures established a unified visual language while accelerating the design process and simplifying future product expansion.
Special attention was given to creating flexible field components with four reusable size variants, allowing forms and data-heavy interfaces to adapt to different content requirements while maintaining usability and visual consistency throughout the platform.

Campaign Management & Gameplay Tools
Campaign management serves as the foundation of the platform. Users can organize campaigns, track story progression, manage participants, and maintain session history from a centralized workspace. Supporting tools such as the Monster Library and Encounter Builder help game masters prepare content more efficiently by organizing creatures, combat encounters, objectives, and game resources within a structured system.
By bringing these features together into a single ecosystem, the platform streamlines preparation workflows and allows users to spend more time focusing on storytelling and gameplay rather than administrative tasks.

Character Management & Collaboration
Players can create and manage characters through dedicated dashboards that provide access to statistics, progression tracking, equipment management, and campaign participation. The collaborative nature of the platform allows players and game masters to stay aligned throughout the campaign while maintaining access to the information most relevant to their role.
The design emphasizes clarity and accessibility, ensuring that users can navigate large amounts of content without losing context or becoming overwhelmed.

Responsive Solution & Outcome
The platform was designed to provide a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Responsive layouts, optimized navigation patterns, and scalable content structures ensure users can manage campaigns, characters, and resources from any device.
The final product delivers a centralized RPG management platform that simplifies campaign organization, improves collaboration, and supports the complex workflows required by tabletop role-playing communities. This project strengthened my expertise in product design, information architecture, design systems, and designing large-scale web applications that serve multiple user types within a single ecosystem.
