2025
ONQ Live is a web platform that connects clients with professional live entertainers for weddings, corporate events, festivals, private parties, and social gatherings. The platform showcases a diverse roster of performers—from bands and DJs to instrumentalists and specialty acts—while providing an intuitive booking experience.
Scope of Work
Challenge
The biggest challenge was designing an experience that could organize a large and constantly growing collection of artists across multiple categories, music genres, event types, and performance styles. Users needed to quickly discover the right entertainer without feeling overwhelmed by the volume of content. At the same time, the platform had to present detailed artist profiles while keeping navigation simple and supporting a seamless inquiry process.

Goals
The primary goal was to create a scalable platform that makes artist discovery effortless. The experience was designed to help users browse performers, filter content by category and event type, explore detailed artist profiles, and submit booking inquiries with confidence. Equally important was building a flexible structure that could easily accommodate new artists, genres, and services as the business grows.
Primary Users
Event Organizers
Individuals and businesses searching for live entertainment for weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private celebrations. They need an efficient way to compare performers and quickly find the best match for their event.
Artists
Professional musicians and performers who use the platform to showcase their work, highlight their specialties, and attract booking opportunities through well-structured profile pages.

Design Approach
The design focused on simplifying content discovery through clear information architecture, structured navigation, and intuitive filtering. Because the platform contains numerous artist profiles, categories, and genres, special attention was given to organizing information in a way that reduces cognitive load while helping users move naturally from browsing to booking.
Artist Discovery
The artist directory serves as the core of the platform, allowing users to browse performers through organized categories and searchable collections. Each profile highlights the artist's style, media, and performance details, making it easier for users to evaluate and compare entertainment options.
Categories & Genres
To support the platform's extensive entertainment offerings, performers are organized into meaningful categories such as bands, DJs, vocalists, instrumentalists, specialty acts, and multiple music genres. This structured organization helps users narrow their search and quickly find entertainment that matches their event.

Booking Experience
The booking flow was designed to minimize friction by guiding users from artist discovery to inquiry through clear calls to action and simplified forms. The streamlined experience encourages users to explore performers while making it easy to request availability and begin the booking process.

Design System
A reusable design system was developed to ensure consistency across hundreds of content pages. Standardized components, typography, spacing, and responsive layouts enabled scalable product growth while maintaining a cohesive visual language throughout the platform.

Responsive Design
The interface was designed to provide an optimal browsing experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Responsive layouts ensure that artist profiles, media galleries, filters, and booking actions remain accessible and easy to use regardless of screen size.

Final Outcome
The final product delivers a scalable entertainment marketplace that helps users discover and book live performers with ease. By organizing a large collection of artists through thoughtful navigation, filtering, and content hierarchy, the platform transforms a complex catalog into an intuitive browsing experience while supporting future growth and content expansion.
